看了几个话题的开头以后，总体来说，我们可以得出以下结论：作为话题的开头，我们需要做到的仅仅只是让对方有耐心听下去，如果一开始就让人觉得复杂有负担，那么这就不是一个talk，而是一个学术的lecture。

上次说的描述一件自己喜欢穿的衣服是学生在环球教育课程中遇到过的觉得比较难扩展的话题，一般学生都只能讲一分钟左右，因为觉得没什么东西可以描述。话题的原文是这样的。

You should say:

what it is

what it looks like

where you bought it

and explain how you feel (or felt) about this piece of clothing.

Well you know I'm a girl so there are many clothes I'm quite fond of but it's almost summer so I guess I would talk about my favorite t-shirt.

这个开头还是用了"Well you know "这个句型，所以我们可以发现，老外在讲述事情是，开头的第一个单词往往喜欢用"well"。考生在准备时也可以借鉴一下。

Last year I went to a DIY clothing store and personally designed my own t-shirt. Before going to this store I didn't know how to make DIY clothes - it's not really difficult at all. Actually it's just a white shirt with a picture of a Hello Kitty I made myself. I'm a big fan of Hello Kitty and have many Hello Kitty clothes but I guess this t-shirt is the cheapest one - only 220 RMB.

This piece of clothing is one that matches with everything and is quite comfortable - I think it's made of cotton. It's not something I would wear to a formal occasion but I often wear it when I go out with my friends.Maybe I will go to the store and make a few more DIY t-shirts.

在文章的body中，我们发现考官还是运用了一些非常简单的词汇和句型，这些词句相信在中国学习的初中生也会。但是，我们发现特别的地方是在于，考官能够用最简单的词汇表达最复杂的意思，并且在这些表达中，我们能清楚明白地知道他所要描述的内容，而不是很费解地去纠结某个长难词或长难句。

另外一点，我们发现考官运用的展开方式是举例子，描述一件去年发生过的具体事情，来告诉对方为什么这件衣服很特别，这个例子可以具体到时间，地点，人物，甚至是对话。这也是我在环球教育上课的时候，最常教的口语拓展方法。
